stock vs. stock

raced him twice.. dead even... 0-70 or so from a stop and we were head to head the whole way. I even got a good enough launch to keep with him from the jump. Then we raced from about 40 to 120 and between 105-120 I started to inch on him. Other than that it was dead on again the whole way. Should I be surprised that my car can hang with the s2k considering it's sooooo much lighter. I got a lesson on some s2k stuff, seems as if it has 140 something ftlbs of tq only. I thought I'd get toasted since not only was my car heavier but the combined weight of his passenegers was only about 270 lbs (small guys) compared to my 350 lbs (my friend is a huge ass mother)... anyways... almost got caught by the cops, go here if you want to read about that...
