CLS-6 vs. NSX
On wed march 12th I was coming home from the Flyers vs Maple Leafs around 11:00 pm. Coming up Cottman Ave in philly I stopped for gas at a sunoco. When I got there I didn't see it, but when I was leaving there was a white NSX parked in a spot. I won't lie, I waited for him to come out before I went to leave. I let him pull out first and I followed. We pulled up to the first light and I didn't look over to engage anything, but when the light turned green he hit it hard and I followed. We had a nice 1/4 mile run or so and I was only half a length behind. When we hit the next stop light I looked over and he smiled so I gave a thumbs up and he did the same. Was exciting for me to be able to sort of run with another special acura. BTW I have a 2003 cls-6 anthracite.

he probably knew what you were driving for him to do anything against you. gotta love those fellow acura enthusiasts...if i had an NSX, id show any CL the ultimate potential of the J32 in stock trim...not a race, just a tribute to acura...nice run!

Almost positive it was a 91-92. I remember when these came out in 91. I was only 10 but I still thought it was an awesome car. It was called a Land Rocket in the 1992 literature I had for it. (still have it somewhere) I looked around online for pics to verify the year I saw and it looked exactly like the one in this ad http://wheelz-sales-leasing.ebizauto...x-2263853.html
Thanks for the responses! It was a really cool experience. My old lady was in the car with me and she thinks I'm nuts. She still begs me to teach her how to drive the CLS though!

The mod bug is biting me when I sleep. I have a AEM intake, but thats it. Looking to get h/e. First I might do a ron jon's bumper bodykit and some wheels though. Taking it slow and enjoying this great car.

Never got a chance to run a C30/C32 NSX, I would stand a good chance if it was stock, but no one wants to lose to an Accord since it's not worth the risk, since beating one doesn't get you much fame. I guess unless its a tribute run then the only way someone is going to bite is if you call them out.

LOL - I can never resist an opportunity to that video.
Did you see the track video of Seattle CL-S's CTS-V now that it's supercharged? It's a rocket.
I came up against a 500whp supercharged Corvette last night and got my clock cleaned. I would think it would be the same outcome against Seattle CL-S's CTS-V now.

Here's the thread to Seattle CL-S's track video. That thing has some serious roll on speed.
