I remember reading a post awhile back asking if our dash clock was backlit. Of course, it is. Weird thing happened this weekend ...

Started driving at night and it was NOT backlit. It caught my attention because the climate control screen (non-navi) was backlit. I hit my headlights and the clock backlight popped on. Headlights off, the clock stayed lit. Each time since then, the clock has been lit regardless of the headlights.

Are these somewhow connected?! Electrical gremlin or did I miss something?!

Maybe it's something like the windshield wiper thing at stop.
