climate control problem

i was driving today and i noticed that my climate control said "20" instead of "60" which it was set at when i first started my drive. i tried to turn it off, but none of the buttons would work and then i decided to mess with the knob that controls the force of the cold air thats blowing thru the vents and then it jumped back up to "60" and all of the other buttons started working again...i was wondering if anyone else has had this type of problem before?

That's kinda cool. Very interesting. It's not a navi unit that controls the a/c is it?

no, i dont have a navi unit. everything seems to be fine now though, althought i've noticed that my a/c isn't quite as cold as other tl's that i've been in. i think i better get it checked for a possible leak.

actualy that same thing is mentioned on the acura cl FAQ page and i quote "My climate control is stuck at 20!
This happens on some defective Climate controls. at specific temperature numbers, usually 65. (sometimes 75).
The problem is the control head in the dash. Get it replaced. "

Mine gets stuck when I leave it on 65 and turn the car off, so I just leave it on 60

There's no way to hack the ECU into turning the temps into Celcius, is there?

I have an american CL-S but I live in Canada.
