Click noise??

Click noise??

when i put my car in reverse from park, right as i let off the brake a little bit to start inching backwards, i hear a "click" i have no clue wtf it is...before i bring it in to get checked i just wanted to ask some of you guys if you know what it is....thanks fellas

oh yeah, it seems to be coming out of my driver's side wheel well

just got back from my friend's shop...it wasnt the CV joint, its most likely my brake pad shifting or some shit...but either way he's gonna take care of it when he does all my 90k work...thanks for the response

Yep, It's the brake pad shifting direction in the hanger, The pad is not a totally solid fit because if it was, the pad would be more likely to get frozen and wear prematurely. all honda's seem to do this, you'll hear one click when backing up and another when you begin to go forward.

It's cool, I freaked out the first time I heard this noise too...

i'm freaking out.. from reverse to drive, it takes approx 2-3 seconds for it to actually engage.. i think my trannys going bad though.
