CLEAR OEM SPOILER LIGHT... right here

Okay guys as most of you know if you searched or browsed the EXTREMELY USEFUL TOPICS section... you will find that Chikai and myself did a step-by-step on installing your own spoiler awhile back... Well at the time we used a spoilerdepot.com spoiler... This gentleman KEN from www.spoiler.com was nice enough to research the clear led that we were looking for since it was different then OEM...

Well he just got 80 OEM clear lense leds for the factory spoiler.

He had a list of about 40 of you guys who wanted them, but he misplaced it.. So he asked me to post this up..

"Hi Smitty,

I finally got the clear replacement LED for Acura CL OEM Factory.
Do you know anybody that need one?
I got alot of inquiry from acura-cl.com, neatly organized their names
but lost it. I will post it on my website tommorow, the latest Wednesday 8/6/03
The price will be $39 + $7.50 shipping. I only have about 80pcs in stock. Thanks KEN"

Go get them they look real hot with the 03 tails!!

Smitty

p.s. this thread will be added to our Extremely useful topic section by soopa soon, so look for the info there.

do you have a pic w/ the brake lights off?

again, imo it would look better if you unplugged your rear deck light.

i'll take 1.

Head over to EXTREMELY USEFUL TOPICS section and you shall find the post...

I am sure you will be able to do it with the spoiler still on the car. You will need a small screw driver and some wiring adapters/splicer.. that all depends on if you have enough slack in the wiring to pull it out far enough to do the swap... You might need to pull the whole spoiler (4 screws)... I recommend you pull it, that way you can wrap the wiring so it does not bounce/rattle when you got your stereo booming..

The website says...

"We crimmped factory standard butt connectors, 3mins 41secs replacement, no cutting, no splicing. "

Chikai and I did the wrote up on a Spoiler depot spoiler... and this one now is for the OEM... I could not answer that for you... try taking some measurements of your light and go on the website or contact KEN with the measurements.

How do I go about getting them? Is there someone I need to call or email?

Just wanted to say that this site is really helpful to CL owners.. There are not many places that carry stuff for CL's and when you tell dealers that you want to retrofit pieces they give you dirty looks. You guys rock!!
