Are the wheels they are putting on the 03 TL S the same wheels they put on the 02 CL S? They look the same.

They are similar, but not the same.

The CL-S wheel is 17x7.5"
The TL-S wheel is 17x7"

 

I thought they were 17X6.5 for the TL & 17X7 for the CL?

Design wise they are the same though correct? I would like to put some on my 03 CLS to make it look like the 02 CLS

 

Why on earth would you want to put on a narrower rim than stock?

 

Similar but not exactly the same. The TL wheels have straighter spokes. The CL spokes are a little fatter towards the center.

 

My CL-S wheels are all scratched. I like the original look though. Know anyone that can fix 'em cheap?

 

I hate the look of the wheels on the 03 but like the look of those on the 02. I thought the TL wheels would be a good way to get that since my dealer has them and is willing to put them on the car. Is there a problem with this? Anyway I can get the exact wheel like they have on the 02?

 

The TL spokes don't stick out as far, so less chance for curb rash.

And Fuzzy is correct, the TL wheel is 6.5".
