The CL vs. the CL Type-S

Besides the obvious horsepower increase between the CL and the CL type-S what do you believe is the best advantage of the Type-s over the base CL

honestly I think the type S has a 30% better exhaust flow. What that means in HP or TQ I don't know why don't you find out for us. Buy the HKS or Comptechs and see how much HP you gain shit you might get 10 HP

HP, slightly better tuned exhaust (can tell a difference when started if u know the cars), seats, VSA, shift knob, gauge cluster color, rims(huge plus), and thats about it.

the one thing i love bout the type s is the guages/ instrument panel, the premium sorta looks ugly compared to the type s IP

I am also a big fan of the guages and 6-Speed. Suspension is also tweaked and more sporty. But above all... just the fact that it IS a Type-S!

To make a long story short, it's a better performing car.

Seats ! The seat in the Type S are better than all their cars including the NSX ! Performance, esp. when you "upgrade" the tires and sway bars ! Better, better, better ! I've "always" bought the "high" end models of Honda's etc.....CRX SI, Civic SI and so on.......when you go "basic" Premium in Acura's terms, that is what you get...........basic..........

Also, CLP wont have small hairs coming out from the holes on the TypeS seat after a year or two!!! Name one more? CLP have less tranny failure than TypeS due to less power.... Altho i changed mine once, but still, compare to TypeS guys' 3-4-5 tranny, mine is way less... hehehe!
