CL typeS with mods isn't fast!!!

The CL type S isn't as fast as I thought it would be, I just started driving it and added a few mods (no headers though) and it' still not fast, I'm scared to dump more money into a car that's gonna break down at around 20,000 miles....BASICALLY i'm planning on trading it in...would it be better to trade it in after (supposing the trany will go) the tranny goes or before...I'm planning on getting a WRX, or S4...definately AWD, tubocarged, and SMALLER then the CL (the back of the CL is so fkin long, makes the car ugly) Luxory really doesn't concern me...PLUS finding aftermarket parts for the CL is a bitch!
..so should i just rip the car in slapstick untill the tranny goes, or just get rid of this thing (damn shame, I'm gonna lose some $$$)
I won't even think about the new 6 spd. cause the back of the CL really annoys me, why is it so long, and still no room for people to sit in the back? so what's your thoughts, know any WRX forums?

CL is quick but not FAST... and 90% of the CL owners bought the CL for many reasons other than the speed..
so stop bullshittin and get lost....

Let me guess, your "mod" was that electric supercharger -- tornado or whatever shit.... seriously, what was the mod? Also, about the back seat, it may not be big enough to have sex back there (I tried ) but it is a VERY VERY nice back seat.

I got AEM cold air, comptech exhausts, sways, springs, 18" chrome Mantas, Neuspeed strut...It's a whole different story when I was in the Acura showroom...I saw the car and fell in love, later on I started noticing the back was looking funny, then seats really caught my eye, I had originally went to see the RSX type s...don't hate, someone hold my hand, tell me I'm gonna appreciate the car in the long run, and parts will start coming out, maybe a body kit or something...

Alright man, as far as your mods go -

Comptech exhaust - barley 2 hp
AEM Intake - about 5 or so
sways - wont make you faster but damnit if you wont notice the diff
springs - same with sways
rims - these might have slowed you down. Remember if they are heavier you are taking hp away
strut - same with springs & sways

As far as options for this car go - remember the first year the S was offered was '01 and this is only the beginning of '02 and they already have springs, struts, sways, headers, exhaust, stroking kits, you name it -- not too bad

I cant tell you what to you but I went through the same things. Its normal - you are getting to know the car and noticing all the little things that NOBODY else besides you notices. Also, I think its a damn sexy luxurious car. Body kits will be here soon enough just be patient.

That's some serious flame bait right there...so before this thread gets wacked, here's your flame you F#ckstick. You are a moron for buying a car you didn't think was good looking or as fast as you wanted. You deserve to lose your cash. Have fun in your WRX. That's a really gorgeous car. :sqntfawk:
