I am planning a top-secret LED project for my '03 CL-S tail lights...

Question of the day, does anybody have any experience with the separation of the tails? I had success with my MINI tails via oven method, but no matter how hot I got my ES300 tails they wouldn't budge. I am so excited for this I can barely stand it, so any guidance would be fantastic! I would have gotten started on this already but its been soooo cold here, even in the garage. Brrr!

Oh, and does anybody know where I can get an extra tail to play with? 01, 02, 03, it doesnt matter...

ebay has tails.

 

The "top-secret" designation was a tongue-and-cheek remark to hopefully elicit some curious responses.

I work for and live on eBay and have checked religiously. There was one that ended a week ago; I have sent an eBay message to the seller with no response.

 

Nevermind.

I searched the 3G TL forum and found that the oven method works for them. Therefore, chances are very good that it will work for my CL as can't imagine the manufacturing process would be that different between the two models. Stay tuned for some sweet '03 tails
