CL Specs / Info

Does anyone have the
0-30, 0-60, and 0-100 times of a CL or CL-S?

I'm doing a project for my calculus class and I need the projected vs. real data, the real data I'm going to find by actually doing it.

bro, i dont wanna give you a hard time or anything, though lots of people use the search feature, and dig up this kind of info, mind you these people arent doing projects..i think if your gonna do a project, you should atleast try researching it first, rather than getting the answers from others..

i think searching stuff like this would be more appropriate for someone doing a project..

By the way..

the AVERAGE numbers we see are:

0-30 mph: 2.9 sec
0-60 mph: 6.3 sec
30-50 mph: 2.2 sec
50-70 mph: 3.2 sec
Quarter: 14.9 sec @ 97.8 mph

0-60 in 6.3? Stock? I don't think so! Honda claims 6.6... Edmunds says 6.7.

i'm talking about average numbers we get here on this forum. and i think honday said 6.4

This board is pretty big, we have lots of CL drivers, our numbers would be A LOT more acurate then what edmunds, or ANY magazine says...WE ARE THE CL.

I am not gonna believe anything I hear in a magazine, when the reviewer doesnt OWN the car, this board, is FULL of CL owners, and if I am gonna believe anything about the CL its gonna be here.

Actually if would read Motor Trend, you would see they got the CLS to do 0-60 in 6.4. I think around July of 2000.

If anything, that average came from the G-Tech which simply is not entirely accurate. Anyone remember when that guy compared his G-Tech to the track he went to??? He did about 9 runs and most of them were off by MORE THAN A FULL SECOND!!!

G-Techs are good for reproducibility so you can see how much you got from a particular mod, but for accurate numbers they are usually a little bit off. They also are completely dependant upon being used properly which is much easier said than done.

The car rags have gotten 0-60 in 6.4 to 6.8. Acura claimed 6.57. Seems like 6.6 is a pretty good average. I'd love for that average to be 6.3 but that simply isn't realistic.

Like GoldTypeS said. Acura says 6.57 0 to 60. This is what it says on their website...

"Give us 6.57 seconds, we'll give you 0 to 60."
