heyy you'll is it possible in hell for the CL-S to beat the z28 manual...this includes all the mods on hte CL-s like the headers, exhaust, AEM CAI, SPRINGS, Sways, and whatever i left out...so wat do you'll think, can hte CL-s have any chances at all...i htink it might b close but the z28 toooo much for the CL-s...

 

There is no way in hell. The new Z28 will kill us. You would either have to habe a super charger or be spraying.

This really depends on the year, but assuming any Camaro Z28 1998 or newer.. the 0-60 mph times with a 6-speed manual (not 4 speed auto) range from 5.2 to 5.5 seconds (I discounted the 4.9 that Car & Driver gave in Oct 1998).

Well Alex, I wanted to post this as a reply to your other pst--which is now closed thankfully--but after reading this one I see that it is still relevant: Your a dork.

Get a supercharger (with the header, lightened wheels, chip mod, V-AFC, tires, etc).

Remove all the seats in the CL-S (including the driver's seat) and replace it with a lightweight shell/competition seat.

Remove all the sound deadening from the car.

Beef up the transmission

Lighten the car with carbon fiber hood, doors, trunk lid. Remove the safety glass and replace with plexi.

Ok, now your getting close

Yeah, the SuperSport is a hopped up version of the Z28 from the factory. Kinda like the WS6 for the Firebird. Ther'es no way a CLS can mess with either of these.
