CL-S vs Accord

I was driving home from my gf's house on I-75N doin at 80...and some korean guy with a white honda accord all fixed up u could hear the AEM Intake and Greddy Exhaust..this car looked hot he rides up beside me and revs his engine then floors it he was abt 2 car lengths..he had a 5 speed cuz i heard him short shift a few times...so i was like what the hell i got behind him and hit it i kept gaining then i came up behind him soo close abt..2 ft then i swirved onto the right lane and passed him and cut back in front on him abt 3 ft and looked @ the expression on his face...haha it was the funniest thing i've everseen he probably had over 4K invested in his car from looking @ the 17 inch white rims and the buddy club body kit and the exhaust which wz dual. We ended up taking the same exit he tried to play cool and floored it on the right lane turning right...he lost traction then swirved into a tail spin but amazingly kept control..

wow, so you are basically telling us that you acted like a dick, racing on the highway and could've killed someone by sutting them off, and hitting them from behind...great story.

Good kill though

Well since all your performance mods in your gay sig are "soon to come" it must not have been the new 03+ v6 accord, because then you would not have pulled an inch. Since you said it was a 5-speed it could only have been a 4 cyl, which has a whopping 150 hp!! Like 175 hp if it was an 2003. Wow great kill!!:thumbsdn:

thats amazing you can HEAR the brand of his intake though

i dunno...i think the cl-s would be able to pull a bit on the accord top end..but anyway thats a good point about the intake haha...and i also like how you know he's korean despite the fact you've never seen the dude before..he couldve been chinese or japanese..dont we all look the same? =P

thoe old stick accords are pretty slow

My sister has an 03 accord ex V6-fullyloaded its pretty nice but i can feel a pretty good difference when driving it compared to my CL-S...the accord seems it has more power then the CL's in the low RPMs...but hey it might jst b me?! but in the high RPM's my CL has more power that i can acutally feel..

IMO, a 6G Accord w/H22A-5sp swap should take a stock TL-P without too much issues; particularly on the topend.

so you're saying that it was one of those accords? 03+? If he had mods and you didn't theres no way you could pull unless he couldn't drive for shit. Especially if it was stick. Stock for stock those new accords have better times than a CL-S i'm about 90% sure of that, so explain to me how your auto CL is faster than a modded one thats 5 speed?

I'm just giving you a hard time cause you left out alot of details tho This shit can and does happen, the kid just probably couldn't drive.

VeeralS05,
You missing important details.

1. If you saying he was manual with dual exhaust, then only 03+
Accord V6 coupes come with manual transmission and they have 6 speed not 5 speed.
If thats the case considering his intake he would walk on you.

2. If it was 6th gen. (98-02) then only 4cyl Accords come with 5spd, however - single exhaust only. No comparison unless he did H22 swap.

3. Finally, 6th gen. Accord V6 has dual exhaust but auto tranny only. So, I see that you were able to beat 6th gen. AV6 with intake, body kit and 17" rims. So your CLS stock will leave him in the dust.

Anyway, nice kill

You were behind him at one point so did his rear look something like this:

or this:

Also if the V6 badge looked like this:

it was the M/T version.
