Side Airbag light...

For some unknown reason I forgot the passenger window open yesterday, and yep, it rained.

Today i found water which got evaporated mostly thanks to the heater on both the passenger seat and climate control.

The problem is, the side airbag light came on since I started the car today (steady). Should I just wait?

Seems that no one had this problem before.

Anyways, It seems to be a problem between water and the sensor. The seat has not dried completely yet, but the side airbag light is now off (it changed from steady on, to blinking then to off).

try to use your a/c to take moisture out of the cabin. Once the seat is dry the side air bags light should go off. It may take a few days if your seat bottom foam is soak.
