CL-S Performance upgrade help?

I'm trying to get a little more performance in my CLS 6 M/T. Right now all I have installed is a AEM CAI. I have Konig Trouble 18 inch wheels H&R OE Sports and crossed drilled rotors but I'm thinking a little more speed. What should I go next Headers, exhaust, etc? Also I'm thinking about the supercharger but what do I need before I get the supercharger? Will the stock clutch hold the supercharger?
please

Headers will be the best bang for the buck, and is usually suggested prior to going to the supercharger. The stock clutch seems to hold up well against supercharged and turbocharged CL's.

Yeah Headers will do it. Your stuck with Comptech though. Those are the only ones that fit a 6 speed. Be prepared to spend about $1K for them.

Here's your next mod:

Stay away from replacing the b-pipe and axle-back exhausts until you do decide to go with the S/C. Replacing them now won't yield any solid performance gains.

Some people were having problems with the Comptech Flywheel & Clutch Disc upgrade however everyone with the stock 6MT setup seems to be running fine. Its us 5A S/C'd guys that need to "worry" about drive train issues.

And really you don't need anything before you decide to go with the S/C, except maybe a pair of shades.

Everything you need comes in the kit minus a smaller 51r battery if you don't want to relocate your existing one to the trunk. Because of the space limitations in the engine bay due to the S/C a smaller battery is needed.

But no rush, start off the headers first. After that you can replace the stock Crank Pulley with an UR Lightweight one. That’s has shown some moderate gains. However if you do decide to go with the S/C you'll need to get rid of it because its not compatible with the charger.

Best of luck.

If nobody said headers yet, get headers.

Are Comptech headers the best or are they just the only one? How much power can I expect from the headers? Where is the best place on the web to get them since I live in Puerto Rico and thanks a lot to all for helping this rookie.

I may be incorrect in saying this, but I believe the only people who had a problem with the comptech flywheel were a couple of guys who turbo'd their car. a turbo likes a heavier flywheel. I've had the comptech lightweight flywheel and clutch disk they provide, using my stock pressure plate, and have not had one problem with it.

I had the supercharger on it for the life of the flywheel and it revs up extremley fast and the bite on the clutch is as good if not better than the stock disk. I say this because comptech sourced out a clutch disk that is from what i was told by them is a different clutch disk material. none the less, it has given not one problem and would recommend it for the 6 spd guys, with or without the SC. I am now running the lightweight flywheel on the same car, but without the SC, and it revs much faster than the stock flywheel ever did. think about it, half the weight.

I'm a believer for the flywheel and am against the nay-sayers, god bless them.

If you are going to install a S/C, your current AEM CAI would be replaced with the one from the S/C kit. To get the most out of the S/C, you should install CT headers and the CT full catback exhaust. As far as the stock clutch, I've been running the S/C (305 WHP) for over 25k miles without any problems.

That's an okay price. The car doesn't sound that much different from stock.

Headers of course. The headers really don't change the sound at all.
