I'm 22 and I was paying $1454 for 6 months of full coverage with a $500 deductible. I got two speeding tickets in the last year and my premium went up to $2143 for 6 months. Sometimes it sucks to be young. It always sucks to live in NJ.

28 single male in suburbs with a clean record. I paid Auto Club about $1600/yr last March. That's for a $250 deductable (bank requires low deductable) and 15,000+ miles/yr.

i am 26..single.. pay about US $200 each month..and the deductible is like $100....and the insurance company is the only one in vancouver B.C...ICBC... the rate is good..even if u lose the car within 3 years..they will pay u the exact money that u pay on your cls..cool right..i believe no other insurance company in usa will do that...they all pay u the depreciation price..right....

17 years old, living in Arizona alone. Under my dad's NY Insurance. $4,100 a year. My Alero is $3,400 a year and the 98 Jeep is $2,900 a year. Man they rip kids off for insurance.

Whoa Baby! You kids are killing me with those rate. There are precious few advantages to being an old(er) fart, but a big one is auto insurance rates. At 56, w/ no tickets or chargeable claims, $250 deductible w/ $100k/$300k limits costs $385 every six months (Statefarm in southern Oregon).
You young folks hemorrhage cash for car insurance, but your life insurance is dirt cheap. I can't even get 'em to issue me a decent life policy. The moral to this story is that we should all be in the insurance business.

Yeah it also doesn't help to be in NY, Miami, NJ, Texas, LA, PHX. Highest Car Theft areas in the US. Also being a college student around a huge University does not look good either.

So yes, Insurance + Car Payment and my CLS costs me $1000 per month.

And thats not counting all that overpriced premium gas she likes to chug.

about $1060/year.
31, single, in an "okay" Phoenix zip code. Could lower that by $200/year if I wanted to live in the 'burbs.

I'm 28 single living in an apartment own a CL Type S and pay $87.10 per month. My deductible is $500.. No tickets or major accidents in 5 years. I used to be with Geico for over 5 years but switched to Merastar Prudential because it's a lot cheaper and has better customer service reps. The company is based out of Tennessee and if anyone is interested email me at joebahk@hotmail.com to get their 800 number.
