Total Damage...

Ok, here's the total damage done so far this week:

1) Installed Gold Grille and emblems.
2) Installed wood (no! Marble, No! Wood, NO MARBLE!) kit (vents and meter).
3) Installed Shock sensor.
4) Installed Acura Magic tape around sunroof.
5) Reprogrammed TL Remote
6) Changed out floor mats to Type-s ones (I have 4 sets of floor mats now...factory, rubber, Wal-Mart, and now the Type-s!)
7) Installed Piaa 19224 road lights, then uninstalled them (staying with the 16w clears for now).
8) Installed Neuspeed strut tower bar.
9) Just had Comptech Sways installed.
10) Trying to get the pager thing to work right...it works iwth the door/hood/trunk, but it's not paging when the shock sensor goes off.

Now all i gotta do is wash and zaino!

Now I'm thinking about Comptech Headers too. I'm just concerned aobut the noise (which is the reason I'll probably never get a CAI).

Noise is the very last thing that should stop you from getting headers. There is no noticeable INCREASE in noise. The noise that is there is slightly more guttaral and even that is barely noticeable. Price on the other hand.... there's a reason to NOT get the headers

The CAI I can understand... the thing is f**kin' LOUD as hell under WOT in VTEC.

Price is no concern. I am also wondering if there is any possible link between tranny issues and increased hp.

I usually accelerate normally (even though it accelerates pretty fast wihtout trying) and brake normally (no hint of warpage). Every once in a while I'll push it. But then again, I rarely drive (11.6k miles in 20 months).

it's the stuff that magically makes the sunroof stop squeaking. i got motorworld acura to send me some so i wouldn't have to go to get it fixed...this was before i decided to get sways though...but it's fun doing it yourself.

I agree on the headers. Sound is not an issue, a little more roar at VTEC. The extra power is worth the cost imho.

some techs don't like the tape, they have some weird grease from the honda del-sol days that works real good, they said the tape comes off sometimes

(i know drew from motorworld sent you the tape, if it holds up-great. if it comes off call back and get the name of the grease)
