My best bud has a CL-S. He took out the fuse for the spedometer trying to see what else will not work. Well the only things that work are the radio and AC but the car shifted straight to 2nd gear and was messing up. No windows, no interior lights, nothing else working.

So he put it back in and the airbag lights are on, the tranny is shifting kinda funny and he is a lil worried?

Did he mess anything up, thanks.

 

I would try to disconnect the battery for 20 minutes or so. If it still seemed to be acting weird after that, then take it to the dealer. There is nothing wrong with taking out a fuse. That is what they are there for.

Oh... and your friend will need the codes for his NAVI and Radio if he decides to disconnect the battery. The service department of his local dealer has them in the computer so it's easy to get.
