Is the CL-S faster than the 2000 maxima?

If I were you, I would maybe go for Comptech sway bars and steer clear of the springs....unless I were to change the shocks, dampers and whatnot...a factory tuned car is different from slapping on a set of springs and expecting perfection.....but the sways are, IMHO, a very worthy investment since they would near totally eliminate body roll in turns....

Sometime back in Europe, one of the premier magazines did a handling test of quite a few cars and this was the way they were finally ranked:

#1 Audi S4 AWD

#2 Honda Accord Type-R FWD (having Honda's signature double-wishbones - but well tuned)

#3 BMW 328i RWD (with sport package)

followed by a bunch of other cars.....

I appreciate the inteligent discussions here.. no flames.. just serious car talk..

to the guy who said the 92 SE Maxima will not out handle a CL-S sorry to dissapoint you but it will not only out handle a CL-S it will out handle every maxima built, it has IRS and LSD...

carry on gentlemen...

and to the gentlemen men who talk about headers.. just a side note.. a S/C max with only 8 lbs of boost will run low 13's..

[edit] FYI.. in 2002 the TL-S is coming

but the Maxima is coming with 260 - 270 hp 3.5 L engine.. just something to think about ..
