i've seen an NSX engine in a Civic. it didnt just drop in without some cutting and pounding in certain areas, but it did fit. it was a drag car though, not a street car.

although the NSX engine and standard i4 engines are 90 degree blocks. The CLS engine is a 60 degree engine so it theoretically should be wider.

The rotation-direction isn't a problem... it can be done... imagine what this motor (6spd) will run in a Civic HB!?!

NSX V6 is a 90 degree angle. The CL-S is a 60 degree V6. 60's are more compact than 90's. How does an inline engine have a V angle?!?!

To all those that have seen a NSX engine on a stand out of the car...you know what I mean when I say that this engine is fucking huge!!!!!The NSX engine is larger in dimensions to most American muscle small blocks and maybe even some of the big blocks...not shitting you!!!! Just about any engine will fit in any car...as long as you have the money. A CL-S engine will definitly fit in an integra...not saying it will be a direct fit at all though and it probably wouldn't match the trans or anything....So if you replaced the ECU and wiring harness, trans, custom motor mounts and brackets, axles, radiator, etc....yeah then you could fit a CL-S engine in an Integra...

It can be done ,The biggest problem is not width but the height of the whole deal .Civics Tegs are very low slung cars relative to TL and CL vehicles .Getting that tall stack of a motor in is the problem .A 6 speed CL/S in a Civic HB is a wild idea but it will take some serious resources to pull it off (any takers?) .

here are pics of the civic i was referring to. it was built by Signal Auto and as you can see, it's a tube frame car so i dont even know if it would fit in a full bodied car. the front end looks like it has been heavily modified to get the motor to fit. so yes its possible, just not practical.
