Nice kill. Stock those eclipses aren't all that fast because the cars are sooo heavy. It takes some mod work to make make it move. It's a turbo car so it's the potential that makes the car appealing to speed freaks.

All the kid in the Eclipse needs to do is miss a shift and you won... I had an '89 Celica ST that would kill the 2.2CL from a 60mph roll... luck of the draw, an auto is more consistent even though it's slower.

Not that fast???
GS-T's are mid 15's stock. With some cheap mod's they are in the 14's. I believe that the driver sucked!!!

Compared to a 2.2 CL Auto:P
A GS-T with intake, 1g DSM BOV, and removing the Waste gate restriction will net mid 14s, which is quick in my book. Those mods cost less than $125.

i used to own a 95 GST, i had few mods done, Greddy blow-off valve, Greddy catback exhaust, and an open element air filter (short ram intake). Basically it was stock compared to all the other guys running DSMs. I had a boost gauge and watched my psi every day. It ranged from 13-15 psi. That car isn't that heavy either, its definitely lighter than the cl-s. I know for a fact that my old car would run a 14.5 if not almost a 14 flat. I also ran my cl-s with just the intake at the track and the best time i got was 14.9, so whoever was driving that GST doesnt know how to drive. But a win is a win, so good job

Auto or Maunal? How did you like the GS-T? My girlfriend wants to get a 97-99 GS-T and was wondering if they are reliable.
