No, it's not a rumor. I was told by two dealers that the cars were being discontinued in June.

I've got mixed feelings. I'm sad they won't be continuing the CL, but I kind of like having a great car that won't be too common. At least in my mind, the CL will live forever!
This reminds me of the Vigor that Acura produced from 92 to 94. There aren't many of them (my daughter has a 92) but they are great cars. I think their scarcity has actually helped them keep their long term resale value. Hopefully, our CLs will prove to be a good long term (if not in the short term because of the tranny probs) value.

Well, I'll bet a giant that they are stopping production in June.

However, despite some comments about the ECU replacement , the slush-box transplant "HORROR" stories seems to be subsiding.

IMO, six months ago, the slushbox replacement stories smacked of brain transplant trials (Hmmm… perhaps more like a brain transplant trials done with mittens on)

The cars take a pretty nasty hit in the first year!

If this is true, it makes me pretty sad. My car holds quite a bit of sentimental value (i'll spare everyone the sob story), so i hate to see it go.

But...
