Whats up guys? a lot of my friends have 4-door cars and SUV's I'm the only one with a coupe. I see a lot of girls driving CL's around me. You guys think its a girls car? Do a lot of girls like the CL for a guy? In other words do girls think the CL is a pimp car.

 

It's weird b/c I guess it depends where you live. I very rarely see chicks driving a CL.. usually older people, but mostly men. When I do see a younger chick driving one it's almost always a CL-P and usually it's white.... other then that mostly people over 40.....

As for girls thinking the CL is a pimp car... I'd have to say a majority of them probably don't unless you have some mods. And if a girl was all into b/c of your car I'd look for another girl

i wouldnt call 260 hp, v6 a girls car..girls cars to me are vw cabrio's, beetles, civics, RSX, Minis, etc...u know the "cute" cars..

 

Where in Jersey are you seeing all these girls driving CL's? Remember Jersey people go through cars about ever 2yrs, where as most other states average 4yrs.

I may have seen a couple girls driving CL's in south jersey, but I dont see many CL's at all.

Go to E-town on March 27th, you'll see a lot of CL's driven by guys.

I rarely see girls driving CL's, mostly RSX's. And I think the CL is not too bad, has a little pimp flavor to it(i know its not a benz), especially when its clean. I see a lot of people look at it, like when you go around a turn, you see their heads follow it. I think the biggest factor, to me anyway, is if it is clean or not. when it is dirty I am not that impressed with it, but when it is all shiny, and the wheels and tires are looking like they are wet, i love the way it looks.

 

I see chicks driving CLs all the time around here.

Id say its about 70-30 girls over guys.

 

not here in chicago, altho, i dont see many at all. the ones i do see are definitely not girls. also, i would have to say that most coupe's if not all are girls cars, so...

 

if you feel like a girl and aren't i would say the car is the least of your problems.

It sounds like you have some issues with your manhood. CL-S is definitely not a chicks car. I've never observed a woman driving a CL in my area. Usually older guys.

I don't see many CL's, but the ones I do see are driven by guys or older broads. I did see one young hot chick driving a 2nd gen CLP, but that was awhile ago.

I see more girls driving 1st gen CL's but the majority are driven buy guys.

good question, just kidding. But really, i can see some cars making you feel girly like a beetle, neon, camry, don't want to offend any of those car owners, but you get my point. A CL-S should not make you feel that way, it at least has the basics covered, sleek design, 17 in wheels, spoiler (if desired), HID's. I think you could do a lot worse. But whatever makes you happy.

 

All I see are middle age woman driving these cars, and most of them are Type S's

Most CL and CLS in my are all bone stock driven by both man and woman between the age of 30-50. And to be blunt, that is exactly the age demographics Acura was aiming for. Remember, all the memers here only repersent about less than 10% of all CL owners.

I've seen a couple of chics in a CL but hell, I've seen em in damn near everything. I don't think the CL is a chicks car.

 

Hell, I'd love a BMW 330 Ci, definetly not a chick car right? Well, in my area most are driven by chicks for some reason. Also, what part of Jersey you live in? Like everyone says, its all where you live, but I don't think it screams chick-mobile like a Beetle or some other cars.

 

i dont think we can call a cl a girls car, maybe bc its expensive and chicks like expensive stuff. Im in northern nj and i dont see many cls driving around if they are they are people 35 and up. there are a ton of tl's around here and those i see alot of women driving.

i also see a ton of 3 series beemers bc parents buy them for there kids....wish my rents would do that

 

Exactly how I feel. When my car is dirty and the se7en mods look dull then I don't really "feel" my car. When clean, I think it looks great!

most of the CLs here are girls cars. and if its white, its usually a girls car. and if its white and tinted, the girl is ALWAYS some italian hoochie around 20 yrs old.

 

you can tell right away if its a girls cls.

 

The only girl (not an old broad) I've seen, was driving a ... you guessed it... a 2nd gen white CLP. I don't know if she was an italian, but see was a brunette

 

well around here it is mostly older peeps driving cl's . as far as ive seen in bout a year an a half ive seen two other GUYS driving them .... but if theres hot ass chicks around here with em i would like to know where there at

 

my girlfriend has a type s, and another girl in our school has the 2003 6sp type s. there are only 3 second gens in our school, so it seems more of a girls car here.

 

who cares, make them come to the meets so we can practice the ACL train on them.

I saw 4 CL's on my way home today. All CL-P and all women.

Cant wait to change my wheels and debadge my CL-P...

 

How many horsepower a car has is irrelevant to whether it is a chick car or not, in my opinion. How it looks determines. Frankly, I would say CL has a neutral look, not feminine or masculine.

Masculine looking stock cars:
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
Nissan 350Z
BMW M3

Feminine looking stock cars:
Volkswagen Beetle
Honda Civic coupe
Mini Cooper

Neutral looking stock cars:
Almost all other vehicles

 

its funny you guys mention a mini cooper because i see almost only guys driving them around

 

I see a ton of women driving 350Z's. That shocked the hell out of me. When it first came out, I thought it'd be strickly a guy's car, but that's not the case at all.

I'd say I see around 50% women in the CL, and are mostly CL-Ps at that.

 

Gotta throw the Jetta in with the female looking stock cars. Ho's and Homo's in those -- mostly... Just said that to piss off the Jetta-lovers around here. True though...
