Chicago recommended tint shops???

Can anyone recommend a GOOD tint shop? Ideally, I'd like it to be in the Tinley/Orland Park area... i.e., somewhere CLOSE to Indiana.

While I'm not opposed to come up to Schaumburg, etc.... I'd like to try to keep it clost to home.

Ideas?

Thanks!

I dunno about specific places in that area, but i would recommend you dont take it to car boutique no matter what. I would take it to shaded days. Car boutique did a shit tint job on my car. I had to have them take it back off and there customer service is a joke. All they do is argue with their customers, and they kept trying to put my removal off and wanted me too pay for the removal when they fucked up in the first place with bubbles everywhere. I also specifically told them i wanted the tint to go over the third brake light and of course they didnt do it and left me a nice window over the brake light. They even claim that i never said that i wanted the whole thing tinted over without a goddamn ugly cutout. Just make sure you get the brake light tinted over looks bad if it isnt.

Im sorry but Bill is a joke. I told him specifically to do something, he didn't do it, then when i started to complain he turned his back to me and walked into the back while i was talking and sent someone else out to talk to me when he did the work.??? He wouldnt even talk to me and said if i had anything else to say i had to take it up with the owner. I talked to the owner and he said they couldnt do it becauser legally u have to have a 3rd brake light not tinted. I said that it doesnt even matter cause i have the spoiler with the 3rd brake light and the one in the window isnt even plugged in. He just stood there with nothing to say and walked back up too his office. Yes I love how 5these guys just walk away from you. Then i spent the next couple weeks argueing with him after j=he kept on canceling my appointments to take it off. He canceled atleast 3 or 4 times. He kept usuing the bs that he has too wait for a sunny day too take them off whatever. I don;t know how the experience of tinting my car could have been worse. Out of everythign that ive done to my car that is the one thing i really wish i could take back.

I seem to recall this... Is the neighborhood "decent"? Any idea on what film they use?

I have been looking for a tinting shop around Chicago area for a while. I called at least 20 of them. And I notices that 90% of the shops use sunguard film. I wonder if it's good or if it's just cheap.

I had mine done at Ziebart in Downers Grove. They do amazing work! IIRC it cost me 260 installed with a lifetime warranty. The use only Madico(sp?) tint. I was told by a friend that all the local BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc dealers on Ogden use this place.

Car Boutique = RIP OFF!!!!!!!

Scrib, what kind of tint you looking for? Platinum? Regular? In either case, there's a shop right around my house (Arlington Heights) that will do your car for $100-$150...depending on what percentage you want. PM me for directions....

I see there are a lot of people here in my area with CL's...you guys wanna meet up? I feel lonely for I seem to be the only one around my area with a TL-S. Be nice to meet you guys!

That's quite a haul for me... However, I am up there occasionally visiting my buddy.

I'm just looking for some nice 35%-40% regular tint. I don't want to detract from my car at all. I want it to be subtle but still do the job; i.e. keep the car cooler... I'm not at all into the 5% limo shit. Do you know what kind of film they use?
