Chevron Techron is great!

I just used a bottle in my tank a few days ago and every time I do I am just amazed at the response i get back from my car. I must have dirty injectors because, the car is flying now. Much better throttle response and SOTP feel when driving. It is only the second time I used it in almost 12k miles so I was due. I should do that more often. And I know everyone always says "good gas cleans your engine already so that stuff is not needed" but I am telling you it is great!

Just thought I would share with everybody!

I agree. I use the stuff in my old Mercedes to keep it somewhat functional. I got a bunch of it.

$8 shipped. Let me know.

I saw a lot of this cleaners. They do work. At least I can measure better MPG.

I used the STP black bottle: STP Concentrated Fuel Injector Cleaner (12 oz.)

http://www.autobarn.net/chst-2075.html

. And, I tried this one too: Gumout Xtra Fuel Injector Cleaner (12 oz.)

http://www.autobarn.net/ch7918.html

I still have to try the Techron ( A bit more expensive ).

Anyways, is there any harm using those concentrated cleaners each other tank, or it would just waste of money.?

What's the difference between pouring a bottle of Techron in your tank and just switching to Chevron gas? Just a matter of how long it takes to clean dirty injectors?

Yea...I thought it was Chevron with Techron. Hmmmm...I'll have ot find out if the added 'Techron' is more than just using the gas.

no it is more than just using the gas it is a performace and cleaning additive. Mobil gas is just as clean and that is what I run in my car all the time, but after this stuff goes in it is like night and day. Gas by itself can only do so much

I guess it couldn't hurt to try. Nobody's gotten on saying the stuff will rot holes in our engine or anything.

yeah I've never used any other brand. This one seems to work for me so I will spend the $8 every 3k miles and put it in. I use to use that 103+ octaine boost in my 97 Z28 but it didn't really do much.

yeah about every oil change or so. You could put it in more frequently but I don't know if it is worth it.

I thought Honda's standard line has always been they did not recommend additives to the oil or the gas? I use Chevron gas but I guess I'll try the straight juice on my Legend, watch out!

Yep -- (I use Shell petrol), and it sure doesn't hurt to toss in a bottle every 6-months (or with an oil change)
