I'm always worried when someone tells me I won't regret viewing their thread, but this time my fears have been allayed.

Holly crap
That thing got quiet a price tag...
For that much I would get a Porcshe GT2, but it still would be nice to have a GTR in my garage.

If I'll hit a lotto jack pot this week, i would get both of them...:wackit:

SOLD

This is a fat automobile, but 225gs for it maybe a bit steep but I guess when you can afford that much, it just dont matter.

For those of you that don't know BMW was required to build 75 of those GTR's for world wide sale if they wanted to race their V8 M3 anymore in the American Le Mans series. BMW was not allowed to race a V8 M3 this year due to not having the car available for sale. You can see a poster of the car BMW was not allowed to race this year in one of the pics above. Having seen the racing V8 M3 in person last year I can tell you the street car in the pics above looks even better than the race car. WOW!

dont get me wrong, i'd kill for one of these because of the engine etc, but it kinda looks like a riced up 325/330 ci from behind. I think they should have changed up the lights etc for that kinda coin. I'm not liking the rims either. 225k? not when someone's gonna mistake you for a ricer from behind....no mistaking a lambo from behind; that's where my 225k would go...my imaginary 225k that is.

I agree totally...

looks like if the civic rice scene and a 330ci had sex...

now the one in the poster with the huge front clip is nice...

It would look rice on a Civic, but this type of wing is meant for a car like this, I think it even improves aerodynamics, I am not sure on a black color though, I would get the silver color...

damn that is a phat car...i would order mine w/o the spoiler...at least get one to look better than that...You guys might not believe me but I raced an M3 friday night, needless to say I lost...It was still fun though...Because I thought it was a 328 or maybe a 330...I couldn't tell at night, he had the top dropped...my friend said dogg, i think thats a fucking M3...I said hell no shut up, when he gets to my tail after checking out my 6000Kelvins slowly creeping...his lights are blingin, but no match...anyways, i dropped it in second and took off fast...i flashed my hazards to get him to race me...then suddenly this fucker out of no where blows by me and waived...he slowed down at the yellow light so I could see what just passed me...I cut in front of him and he got back behind me because there was another car in the other turn lane...light turned green and he flew around me then got in my lane and threw rocks and all kind of shit at my car doing like 100 in a 40...I followed him for a mile doing 115 in the 40:wow:...What is so ironic...I saw the same M3 today at chik filet...I talked to the dude and said that was me in tha acura...I told him thanx for spanking my ass...He laughed and said your car is phat as hell too...He said I know you did some nice stuff to it...Went on about my HID and exhaust...Definately not the typical snobby bimmer driver...Wow, what a fucking nice car in person...Shyne

My acceleration is very good, not TLS good though...No match for the M3...Just to hear that baby rev up behind me over my intake and exhaust is nuts man...I love that car, god its like a UFO passed you when a fucking M3 passes you:wow:...The dude who was driving it was cool as hell too...He showed love to the acura man...That by its self was so cool...What is not, is how bad I literally eat his dust friday night...So much power...All I can say is that car is literally a work of art...I spent like 30 minutes drueling on the car today at chik filet...Man, i cant stop thinking about it...

I can read arabic guys, the sign says: "Asalamalakem! This is the phattest fucking car BMW builds...We know arabs are ballers sellin all that oil and shit, so you should buy this car...We guarantee you american pussy if you buy this car..." Shyne

The M3 is the only sub 60k car on the road these days that makes me so envious it actually hurts. LOL nice translation, that's what I figured it said.

I looked at the M3 real close at the autoshow, its nice (have driven it before briefly)......seats are great, but the interior seemed a bit chintzy. Nothing tragic though, it will most likely replace the Viper next year- unless something else catches my eye (S4?).

What he said. You guys confuse the shit out of me. {scratching head}

After all the bad mouthing some of you do on "rice", how can this "Bondo out of control" Bimmer be phat? Too much front clip, two spoilers-a lip and that wing! (I know the wing prolly keeps that fockers feet down.) The rear extension is almost longer than the exhaust tips. And why not make the hood out of "gutter guard?" Look at all those vents.

That thing looks like Fido's Dick!

It's too Sauerkraut'y.

u notice the stitching for the steering wheel??? combo of orange and navy blue...how cool is that??? talk about attention to detail!!

i agree the M3 didn't look as good as i remembered last year...maybe it was the color schemes...the 330 DEFINITELY looked classier with it's more neutral colors...M3 in comparison seemed more in-yer-face KungPow colors...for ex, the Topaz blue with Cinnimon interior vs. the Laguna Seca with Silver interior...i guess BMW is being more hardcore with the M-series, which is fine with me...i just remembered it being a more subtle sports car last year.

the car is just amazing. Now for the weird part, is that this is the BMW dealer in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. I lived there for about 12 years and I can tell from the first pic. It is one amazing showroom . Since there are so many wealthy oil people over there you see stuff like this all the time, lots of BMW , mercedes, rolls , bentleys, ferraris, porsches, etc. You see it all.

My father was working in Cairo for 2 years (1998-99.) He said the same thing. Vehicles like the Grand Cherokee Limited were used by these guys as work trucks. They had the BMW and Mercedes as daily drivers, and the JGC LTD was out on the property somewhere pulling stumps.

it's special because it's a 4 litre v8 from the M5 in an M3 body that has been lightened significantly from a stock M3...
the all aluminum V8 is actually lighter than the 6 usually found in the M3...
