Hey everyone i need help on my 02 Acura Cl Type S...I just bought it few days ago and my check engine light came on yesterday. So i went down to schucks and ask them too see whats wrong well they cant find the adapter part. they said its usually under the steering wheel and when they check online they said it should be in the center console but i need to know exceat place where it is... thanks

 

straight from up the shifter(between the seat heater buttons), there is a removeable panel
i couldnt find it 2 at first

 

if you go to autozone they can check it. unless schucks is like autozone then disregard what i said.

 

LOL @ steeringwheel, remove the plastic piece behind your shifter.

 

Underneath the ashtray(not an ashtray) there's a removable cover. The connector is in there.

Service manual suggest you have a short in the shifter connector going to the power train control module(PCM)

 

wow is that gonna cost me a bunch of money???man i just bought this car not that long ago bout last week...well i got another question how do you change the tranny fluids? thanks fuzzy
