Check Engine Light

Mine is on. This ever happen to you guys? My 6speed only has 1,000 miles on it.

did it flash, then go off, or did it stay on?

If it flashed, then went off, you probably dont have anything to worry to about....mine had a tendency to do that when i wheel hopped.....

If you only have a 1000miles on yours, and it stayed on, take it to the dealer.......

When I picked up my six speed my check engine light was on. Stayed on for a few hours then went out. Stayed out.

I suspect it is one of two things. First would be the previously mentioned gas cap.

The second would be for code P0300, random misfires.

Regardless, have the dealer check it out unless you have access to a scan tool.
