There are some camera shots where my car looks amazing, and in different lighting it just looks OK.
And does this stuff LAST like Zaino.
I think there was some other stuff that someone was bragging about the other week, but it’s gone after the first RAIN.
Not very practical unless it’s a show car.

For comparison...........................

Smitty........I put about 15-20 coats of Zaino on per year. I usually stop doing it in October or November........then I don't do it again until March or April.........I think that Zaino is the logest lasting stuff ever. If it survives 3-5 months of Chicago winter, it could handle a nuclear blast. As for the pics ot the TL........now that I think about it, darker colored cars reflect light better than say........tafetta white .........by looking at Shawns pics I'm gonna stick with godd ol' Zaino. As a matter of fact, there is a fresh coat of Z5 sitting on my car right now I'll try to post pics of a light colored car with Zaino for comparison!!!!!!!!

As much as i love to rag on NSXNEXT and ShawnS's cars.....i must agree with them. Let's see some close ups and let's see this car after a shower or two and then a wash. I can tell you that resiliancy of Zaino is second to none.
Anybody can make a car look shine for 45mins. I think Sal would tell you himself that carnuba provides a great shine but it will not last.

Im trying to find out what site it was where they compared all the waxes. It was a german article... they tested all the products like zaino, meguiars and such. Thats how i found out about s100. Its made by the people who make pinnancle sourven. So who knows.
Also, ill pick a $14.95 wax over zaino any day.. how much is zaino BTW?

Maybe i don't know your story but to live in a house that big, have a dad drive an RL, going to purchase another 50k luxo sedan, you drove a loaded TLS at a very young age......it just seems odd to me that $15 can be something you are concerned about after just having paid a shitload of $ on a car and nearly $500 on a C/F intake. I guess you can only base statements on common knowledge and i know only what you post.
Like i said, i don't know your situation so i guess i should withold my comments.

Shawn, yeah go ahead and toss a joke his way about payments... tell me again how much did that home theatre cost?
Zapata, toss another comment out there about the price of BMW's when I'm sure the loss you took on the slushbox you had plus time and energy, plus the six speed CLS you just got probably at minimum, got close to a base 330.
I'm not jumping down anyone's throat here, I like all you guys but can we please get off the money wagon? We all spend it differently why judge simply on habits?

S100 Was rated A in terms of shine.
The overall winner was Zaino, due to the fact that it lasts much longer.
S100 will last about 90 days.
Heres a snippet:
Guru Reports recently tested 46 different waxes and only one got an 'A' for appearance. Not Meguiars, not Pinnacle, not Zymol and not Zainos (all got B to B+ scores). The wax that was top in appearance was P21S, a German wax developed by the same guy who developed Pinnacle Souveran (which runs $69.99 for 8 oz). P21S normally goes for $24.95 through high end automotive shops and on line car care outlets.
The dirty little secret is that the same exact wax is sold at Harley-Davidson dealers under the name S100 for $14.95. The wax is the same, the container is the same except for the name of the product. The only reason I can think of it being cheaper is that one container could probably wax a bike more than 50 times, so the average bike owner would never come close to using a whole jar of it and probably wouldn't pay full price for something they will never use all of.
The Harley dealers also sell the S100 paint cleanser which is a real good light polish. The cutting power seems to be between Meguiars Swirl Remover 2.0 and Show Car Glaze. That runs about $8.95, a dollar less than the P21S paint cleanser.

Who cares about you and your $.
this thread is about wax, not about you and your thoughts.
If you wanna talk about that, start a journal, and send it to someone who cares.
Thread hijacking is gay.
