Wassup,

My cd player will no longer play cds for some reason. I keep getting error codes and it doesn't seem like it can shuffle cds anymore. I put in a cd-r w/ a label on it the other day and it got stuck. after removing the stuck cd, the other cd's will no longer play. it seems when I try to eject or switch cds, it won't work.

i have a 2001 cl-s w/ about 75k miles on it. do you think if i take it to the dealer, they will fix it for free under a "one time good will" thing?

Also, I have been thinking about replaceing hte stock unit w/ a new deck that has mp3/satellite capability.

I have a few questions for those that have replaced their stock cd/radio unit:

1. Will I still be able to use my steering wheels controls to control the volumn on an aftermarket deck?

2. any recommendations on a good headunit that has mp3/satellite capabilities? i heard alpine is the best.

3. will i need to get a new amp to power my speakers?
