Cassette Tape Player Problems

Has anybody ever had problems with the tape player in their CL?

I have an ipod cassette tape adapter and it'll spit out the tape player every once in a while. Sometimes it won't happen for 15 minutes, sometimes after like 3 minutes. Anybody else ever experienced this?

Just ditch the adapter and get a Blitzsafe. Worth every penny.

The contacts might be dirty. You can pickup a tape deck cleaner at walmart for like $5. Acura should also have them, but I think they're like $15, and basically the exact same thing.

Oh, and do what LH said, get a Blitzsafe.

All you have to do is take off the side panels of the console, reach behind the radio and plug it right in. Then you just need to run the wire wherever you want it. I suggest up thru the center console so you can hide it when not in use.

:ibthelock: means just what spdy said. Considering this is an A/V question, it should be posted here: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/ Generally, A/V questions shouldn't be posted here.
