The VIN you supplied, "JH2PC2519TM500164", is invalid. A VIN must be exactly 17 characters long; the letters "I", "O", or "Q" never appear.

Sorry for the mess-up guys! Saw that and tested it on CARFAX. Turns out it's CARFAX for a reason -- the thing i was trying to check is a bike (CBR600F3)

I checked some other site, and it just confirmed that that VIN was actually a '96 CBR600F3, so the VIN is valid...

Also I called the DMV now and they said it hasn't been salvaged. They don't have any of the other records, but it's a clean title.
