carbon fiber sheets????

Hello, i was just wondering if anyone in here has heard of anyone using carbon fiber sheets and puttting it on their hood? (instead of buying the the entire CF hood). THe sheets are cheap and i was wondering if it would work? Just spread the sheet over our hoods and heat it up and it should stay, right??? Any help or input would be great thanks.

word of advice, if you do this be prepared to be "re-finishing" your rims everytime you wash it. foil tends to rip....well mine did.
