Car would not start HELP!!!

Okay this morning I get in to my car to start it up and go to work. and WTF? I have power and the voltage is at 11.6(escort) okay but once I crank the car it would just crank but not start.

WTF?

I had this problem the 3rd day I got the car but it just happened again this morning. I then got my other key and tried that, even the valet key but no luck. I checked the ign. fuse and some other fuses but no luck.

I then take my dad's 98 escort and drive to work. The oneday i don't have my detector there's cops on the parkway using radar. But I couldn't speed in that pos anyway. the funny thing is I kept on looking for the volume control on the steering wheel but couldn't find it. Even tho i knew i wasn't in my car, my hand didn't. Also my eyes kept looking for the navi.

Anyways any idea's what the hell could be wrong? im freaking out here.

don't freak out, that is why we have roadside assist. put in a call about 30 minutes before you leave work and have them meet you by your car.

Meet them at my house? okay. will do.

I was also thinking maybe a jumpstart but the voltage meter read 11.6 or 11.7 so I though the battery was okay.

OK Novawhite--let's get this straight:

1. Suspended license
2. Still driving, speeding and racing
3. Attempting to avoid cops using illegal radar detector in VA
4. Using dryer hose on a 30K car

Man, you like to live on the edge!!

Well he was messing with the sub/amp connection yesterday. My guess is he connected it to one of the ALWAYS ON fuses and that drained his battery.
