Car Wash Spray?

Has anyone had trouble with water getting in the sunroof and/or windows when taking it to the car wash? Just wondering because I had that problem in my old Legend. Now I'm afraid to take it. Its still too cold to wash it myself.

i was wondering if you got your rims scratched in one of those car washes?

'fabvsix,' question for you. where do you get your car washed? do you get it detailed? i live around the area and i was wondering if you could recommend a shop for me.

thanks in advance.

You know the touchless on Mission and South Van Ness (Chevron) have Mexicans inside to wash your car...not a machine...

Never had that problem on mine but i try to stay away from those car washes, they strip off your wax but sometimes you gotta do it cause the salt doesnt do much for the paint either. I had a nicely waxed finish and then went to NJ for a week and had to spend hours re waxing and washing that salt crap off.

Make sure its a touch-less car wash. They might tell ya that its a "soft touch" car wash. Don't let ANYTHING touch your car in the car wash. I have had my expensive ($500/each) rims on my M3 scratched in the car wash. I was pissed! Save yourself!

had the exact same problem w/ my old legend too. The sun roof area would get all damp and stuff when it rained really hard. But not w/ the CL
