Car troubles, need some input.

Car was idling funny the other day when I'd come to a stop, figured it was the throttle body. On my way over to the Acura dealership the car wouldn't get out of first gear while in D mode. Warning lights turned on. I went to sport shift and was able to get it into higher gears but it was very jerky. Ran fine once I was in gear. Got to the dealership and dropped the car off. Got a call today and they said it was the throttle body and two broken motor mounts.

My question is could the throttle body have caused my car to act like that, or is it possibly the precursor to my transmission taking a shit?

Motor mounts are covered under an extended warranty I got through my insurance company, the throttle body is not. And Acura wants to charge me $672 for the replacement.

Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
