Car security poll

I'll move this to Car Talk in a bit after i get a sampling of the ramblings folks.

I'm curious to see how many people still use The Club.
I'm not right now, but maybe i should

only 2 of them are scratched.

I'd comment on your grammar/spelling but that'd be way too easy. But you're right, no buddy of mine would steal my car.

Anyone use that thing that goes under the brake pedal and keeps you from pressing it? Sort of like a Club for the brake.

So Mr. "Epiphany" is giving spelling lessons now? :P

I have the stock security system, which is key-activated. It's a low-key system, someone broke into my car not knowing it had an alarm. They were unprepared and made off with only my ashtray, apparently not noticing my cell phone (which they left on the seat for me).

I use this! It is a LOT better than the club. With the club, it only takes like 15 - 20 seconds to saw through your steering wheel. This one will take a LOT more effort to defeat. I have also been looking at this thing called the Power Lock. It will work, I am just worried about it breaking. What do I do if it won't let me start the car????? I will probably get it anyways.

I have been using the Club for years now. My hope always is that the idiots would see something else without a Club and go for that instead.

I do not lock the Club. I just slide it on. I figure if someone sees the CLub and still breaks in to steal the car, it won't make a difference whether it is locked or not.
