lots of clicking, lights dimming, no start.


i turn the key, then i hear clicking and the dimming on every light.

i haven't called the tech yet because i'm waiting for a friend to come by with jumper cables since i'm nowhere near my shop or any tools.

it may be the starter, but would it make that clicking noise? btw, it doesn't turn over at all, nothing. just clicking. i should grab my voltage meter too.

 

sounds like your battery took a shit...

The clicking is the selenoid on your starter not having enough juice. Get some jumper cables and jump it and it should start right up. Then high tail it to a store and buy a bettery.

oh btw, it seems that my remote wire may be disconnected. i think my box stayed on and sucked all the life out of my battery.
