Car got a sun burn

The center console is peeling like a sunburn lol. I tried to fade it in and only made it worst

Anybody else have this issue? Am I suppose to peel it all off?

I’m pretty sure I just lost 5hp from this

You could wet sand it and re-gloss it. Or, you could take it to a body shop and have them do it.
