This is my beloved turbo kit that was custom made for a 98 Accord coupe with a j35a8 engine/auto transmission (2007 TL Type S setup) swap. I'd like to begin by saying that this is NOT some cheap quality, budget minded turbo setup made by Joe Blow in his one car garage. This setup was fully designed and hand fabricated with the utmost talent and skill by Matt Hickam of (once then) Hickam Series Fabrication in Ft Worth Texas which is now called Alliance Fabrication. Matt is a fabrication mastermind who took extreme care and lots of time hand crafting this setup. I paid top dollar ($5500) for this kit alone and trust me, it was worth every penny paid! Its a little over two years "old" and was completed in April of 2013. The best part for the person buying this kit? It has less than 2400 miles on the entire setup. Yes, that's right: less than 2400 miles. It is 100% fully TIG welded and back purged where necessary. All material that was used was either stainless steel or aircraft grade aluminum. There is a flex pipe on each bank between the cylinder heads and the turbos mounting flange for maximum vibration protection that decreases the fatigue placed on the welds which in turn increases the setups reliability.

Included with the kit is a 6262 Precision turbo that's capable of producing up to 675hp (though the setup is currently using a 450hp intercooler) and uses a quick spool technology that's well known for producing insanely responsive boost. With my 3.5, full boost was generally present around 2200-2400rpms. When used with my 3.7 build, lag was non-existent! The wastegates and blow off valves are all made by Tial and are all of course top quality. There are a total of two wastegates (one installed for each bank) of which can be plumbed for liquid cooling from the engines cooling system. The BOV is the noisy style that gives off that lovely whoosh sound.

The manifolds have four oxygen sensor bungs which I opted for because I had dual AFR gauges and this required me using four separate oxygen sensors. Any unused bungs can simply be capped off using a plug. In the photo, the AFR gauge o2 sensors are still installed but will NOT be included with sale. There is also a very small orifice drilled immediately after the bungs (two total) that was used for EGR probes to monitor each bank during boost. These are also easily plugged...or even tack welded if that makes you feel better. Though only one wastegate dump tube is pictured in the photo, the kit will include both just in case anybody is wondering. All hot side tubing is heat wrapped and/or shielded using the best materials to do so. Also, all hot side tubing was ceramic coated black prior to any wrap or shielding be added. The manifolds have some 5-6 layers of thermal insulation which can be removed if you prefer to show off the beautiful fabrication work and stainless steel.

The turbo has a brand new, never ran CNC cut drain tube flanged thats o-ringed instead of gasketed which greatly reduces any chances of oil leaking at this point. The turbo has zero issues and does not smoke. Only top brand synthetic motor oil was used and changed at 500 mile intervals. Forgot to mention, all components in this system were brand new...nothing was used or rebuilt! The included valve covers were modified for a breather system which I recommend using although it's not required. There are two small orifices in the cold charge tubing that were added for meth/water injection that again are easily plugged or tack welded. Roughly 4-6" from the throttle body, there is a threaded bung directly into the aluminum tubing that was added for the intake air temp sensor to be installed. All hot side piping uses v-band style clamps for maximum seal and reliability.

Please note that what you see in the pictures is what you get, period! Though it wasn't originally designed for use on for the 3G 04-08 TL's, it may fit with some slight modifications. And for those with 6G Accords or the 2G TL or CL's that have swapped over to a single port exhaust head engine (ie j32a3 j35a8 etc), you will be good to go. The turbo mounts onto the engine/trans bellhousing using the lift loop of which will need to be cut/drilled to mount the two together....or, you can easily come up with your own simple mounting bracket.

I'm only asking $3300 for the setup. Because I'm either ALWAYS working or with my family, please ONLY text. Feel free to contact me if there are any questions. I don't mind talking over the phone it's just that it will have to be when I'm able to call you back. Robert @ 214-463-0765. Thank you.

Btw: I've decided on selling this setup because I no longer desire to have this amount of power on my daily driver. It was fun while it lasted though.

The next lot of pictures are posted for referencing on build quality and turbo setup placement purposes only!

Yes, the price is "stupid" low because I need the kit sold ASAP. I don't want anyone to think there are any issues or problems with this because of the ridiculously low price so feel free to ask ANY questions or request additional photos that show greater detail. I have more photos of the kit installed too for those looking for referencing photos to help address fitment or modification concerns. Someone will end up with an awesome deal here and I assure that person you will be pleasantly surprised at its performance delivery!

Thought of a few more things to add to this thread:

* Payment: I accept ONLY PayPal, money order, cashiers check and for anyone locally I will accept cash. All methods of payments must be cleared by my bank before shipping the kit. Please don't ask me to accept any other method of payment as I will NOT accept or consider them. I will not accept deposits, partial payments or hold the kit for anyone. I expect 100% of the payment up front.

* Shipping: Buyer is 100% responsible for making all pickup/shipping arrangements. Once purchased, the kit will be properly/carefully crated for shipping but nothing beyond this. Please make sure that the courier service has a liftgate because I'm not willing to injure myself assisting the driver in lifting the crate. For anyone wanting to get an idea on shipping costs prior to purchase, please note that I do not have a loading dock, the location of the kit will be picked up from a business/commercial address, the location is Plano Tx (zip code 75074). I have no idea what the weight of everything combined is plus the weight of the crate itself. My best advice is to use overestimate the combined weight as most courier services will deduct or credit back the difference once it is actually weighed by them.

Handling: Please allow at most 3 days for preparation time in crating everything up. That's all I ask.

Thanks again.

Damn this is tempting as hell. I've been looking for a supercharger, but at that price I think I'd rather go with this. I'm actually somewhat local, less then 100mi from plano.

Don't think I'll have money till the middle of next month though. If you still have it then, I'll probably contact you.

I'm interested but have no idea to contact to ship. Thoughts? And to confirm, what mods to a stock 07 TL is needed?

Just get online and Google "courier services" in your area. There's plenty of them out there. Most of which have online forms you can quickly fill out for an estimate on shipping costs.

As far which mods will need to be done, I have no idea as I do not have an 07 TL. As I stated, this is entirely the responsibility of the buyer to determine. I can only assume the changes would be minimal since the platforms (3g TL & 6g Accord) are very close in regards to design.

Will this direct fit a 2003 Acura TL (I have a CL-S6 engine and tranny)??

If not, how much modification? I'm using an EMS 2 for tuning.

Just like you told a potential buyer in your own part out thread. It doesnt even look close to a direct fit seeing how the manifolds are for single port heads

"Please note that what you see in the pictures is what you get, period! The turbo mounts onto the engine/trans bellhousing using the lift loop of which will need to be cut/drilled to mount the two together....or, you can easily come up with your own simple mounting bracket."

Lol what can I say, guess I'm a hypocrite

Still that's not too bad. I'm going to build a new 3.5, so I may opt for a newer J with single port. Hmm, will have to look into more options.

As already mentioned above, I'm leaving this area entirely up to the buyer. Your future engine should make the installation of this kit MUCH easier though.

Thanks man. I appreciate the positive post. And yes, someone will have a great deal of fun with it. Maybe if the manifolds fit the 2nd generation single port exhaust heads from the 4g TL 3.7 that I have on my engine, I would have kept it.
