Rim design is ok. they need to be bigger, just the profile on those tires is too big.

1 bottle of vaseline: 2-4 dollars
1 sore rear: pain
Driving your new Z sitting on a pillow: PRICELESS!

It's so cute and it doesn't look powerful at all. Almost TOO subtle. I guess that's cool though. Whoever said the tires are too high a profile is smoking crack - they just need bigger rims, but if the tire profile is any lower you'd be bending rims on bumps.

hey soopa...
I see you're in albany, NY also.
I saw a (i think it was black) CL-s on central the other day at a import performance shop (just up from the armory car dealership), but it had mufflers at least, or cat back, not sure. was that your car by chance?
Mine for now is all stock, but it'll be difficult to leave alone for long.
If you've got an exhaust on your car i'd be interested in hearing it at some point. i can't decide upon holding out for an exhaust or just buying a cutout for some racing fun.

How can they claim the car is costing around $32K. Just on Volk racing wheels 18" with Michelin pilot sports ZR18's and Brembo calipers come on that's 4k on components already. If the Z has about 300 hp and 260 torque weighing around 3200-3300 that car is a steal for $32k. I'm on line

I saw one on the road about about a week ago in the L.A. area.
It was on the eastbound 101 freeway near Balboa Blvd.
It had either dealer or distributor plates but I couldn't tell which and it was in a color that was basically PDG.
I've been waiting a long time to see one of these in person but I have to say, it just didn't look that good to me on the road.
On a side note I drove the G35 that day and thought it handled wonderfully, with a very smooth tranny. So that being said, I think the G35 coupe and 350Z are going to be very fun to drive.
But as for looks, that Z I saw just looked kind of cheap to me.
