I am waiting to get a 2002 CL-S and I would like to know if the car cover is easy to use and remove? and does it come with some kind of bag to put it in when not in use.

 

Depends on how often you'll use it. I paid full price (instead of ordering from ahmotor.com), but I use it extensively as my car is usually garaged and stored.

the question is, is it worth the $200 for it or is a $50 one from wal-mart just as nice? The only problem I have with my cheap one is the elastic cord around the bottom makes it hard to put on sometimes. As soon as I get one corner down and walk around the car, it will sling shot off.

 

My car cover from acura has elastic at the bottom too? It doesnt just droop down...I wonder if they changed it for the new CL's. Anyways, it really isn't all that hard to put on...But to answer the original question, I think mrdeeno is right..it really is up to how much you would use it. I don't use mine too much, sad but true. I think for me, it is the time taken in taking it off and storing it rather than taking it out and putting it on. I am always in a rush in the morning so..

it is thicker material, the same material as the one for our sl500...just not as expensive (i guess 'cuz it has "acura" printed on it instead of "merecedes").

it's got elastic around the front part and the back part to stretch around the bumpers. You get a nifty cable and lock too to keep it from being stolen, but since my car will be in the garage, I'm using the lock for my luggage

is it worth $200? again depends on how much you will use it. go to a dealer and see if they have one for you to see/feel, then order it from ahmotor.com.
