Supras cant run a 12flat with no mods, The fastest I have ever seen one run was 12.5 last summer at SIR, it smoked my freinds legend who was runnin NOS, he ran a 4.4 I think, but there is NO WAY, this supra had drag rims and slick, I would say about 255 or higher, cuase they stuck out quite a bit, this thing also had a hell of a lot of other stuff, Im not sure what but you could tell by the sounds.

On the note of beating an NSX a SCed M3 will do the trick, so will a new one (I think??)

I think it's the latter.. but honestly there are quite bit of cars that could beat an NSX.. Corvette, Saleen, Shelby, Viper, McLaren, Lamborghini, most Ferrari's, Mosler, Bugatti, Lotus Esprit, Porsche 911 Turbo, M5 would come very close, Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, BMW Z8, Renntech Mercedes-Benz E7.4RS, Porsche Ruf, VEctor M12, to name a few... of course there are more cars that an NSX could beat .. than could beat it =)

just called my boy whos supra it was he had a greedy blow off valve, greedy boost controler, stock clutch (which blew up on the next run) and 18 inch rims and tires, him and his brother both have supra's i considerd that extremely fast for a car with stock turbos even though it not "stock" i should have stated this in the first post but if you need further proof ask fastvtecl he saw it with his own eyes

You cant compare a 996 Turbo to an NSX. If you wanna play fair...there are a lot os NSX's in japan, that get modded to like 650 horses, and hit 225, andd...hit 0-60 in 3.5, and 0-100 in 4.5
I have read this in magazines several times, and im sure if you do a little reasearch, youll find it somewhere. So that NSX i dont think any car can beat...yes, even the mclaren. So our big brother is still king. And the next NSX, 450 horse twin turbo, thatll smoke all. By the way, the stock NSX is no slouch...0-60 in 4.8

Umm.. there are NO cars that can reach 100 mph from a standstill in 4.5 seconds. BTW .. a Ferrari Koenig F50 can do 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 231 mph, twin turbocharged V12 (no Nitrous or jet rocket..haha, 828 hp and 587 ft-lbs. of torque) and a 2000 Koenigsegg CC can do 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 242.3 mph. (655 hp and the car is only 2425 lbs.)

I am sure there are cars out there that can beat an NSX. But a modded NSX, very few cars can beat. I think EDMUNDS and CAR and DRIVER did a report on the 225 mph NSX. They to said it was probably the fastest car. But check it our for yourself. If i find something good, ill post it up. Oh, and the reasons why stock ferraris and porsches can smoke an NSX is simple. When you buy a ferrari, the engine is already tweaked for you. No more playing. You cant mod a ferrari engine. But the NSX, you can do all your own modding, and i think people would be more proud to have a screamer that they built themselves.

The Koenig F50 is 'tweaked' base Ferrari F50's have only 530 hp and the GT version has 680 hp (0-60 mph in 3.3 sec).. base Ferrari F50 is a V12.. Koenig F50 is a twin supercharged V12.. but I do agree that the NSX can be modded and when it is watch out cuz there are very, very few cars in the world that can beat it.. I don't know about a 450 hp beast for the next NSX.. been reading here that is may be a V6 with 350 hp and that Acura shys away from V8's.. is the next NSX gonna be cheaper at $65K or a Ferrari fighter costing over $100K? We'll see...

BTW... 2000 Dodge Hennessey Viper Venom 800TT with a twin turbocharged V10.. 800 hp and 800 ft-lbs torque 0-60 mph in 3.1 secs, top speed 230 mph, 0-100 in 6.5 secs, 1/4 mile in 10.2 secs.. WOW!

The NSX engine is tweaked just like other cars. You can modify almost any car to make it faster. You can also mod a ferrari engine... There is a yellow Ferrari and I think it's modified by the guy who drives the NSX drag racer (I forget his name, but I'm pretty sure it's him). I don't know the details of the mod but that rear engine bay looked loading with non-stock turbo parts (I'm pretty sure it was a twin turbo setup, but I could be wrong).

ZO6, Skyline GTR, Supra TT, Porsche 911 Turbo, all Ferarri's, Diablo, M5, Mitsu Lancer, some Panoz, Mosler Rapter, Salleen Mustangs, Roush Mustangs, McLaren F1+GTR, ETC. The NSX is very beatable even so much as a modded out CL-S or a TL-S could be set to beat a NSX. The car that I would judge to be unbeatable (a street car of course) would be the Ferarri F50 Koning, or the McLaren F1.
