Question Can ya help me figure it out???

I have a 01cl and lately I noticed when I take off slowly and almost reach 20mph, my car sort of jerks a little, or how should I say it? It feels like it would run out of gas for like 2 seconds. I cant really explain, can you guys understand what I mean somewhat by these descriptions? Thank you soo much, I hope to get an answer!

There were all kinds of theories for this type of problem in other threads. In my case it was an exhaust leak in my flex pipe. I think it was sending false o2 readings to the ECU causing my car to change the timing or cut or push more fuel. It's been gone for a while now so in my case that was it. The leak was extremely hard to find and took the exhaust shop a while to find it.

Thanx so much for the reply...It might be related to that...My car was totaled after it was hit from the right rear (((trunk got ppush it, knocking down the exhaust pipe))) Im thinking of getting the whole exhaust system changed to an aftermarket or perhaps the original one, maybe that'll help it huh? thanx again partner!

See you should have said that originally. Now that opens up a TON of potential reasons. It could be anything.

No!!! lol...it's welded back on, it's just that it was a sh*tty job...my uncle did it for free, so you know! sometimes free is just the worst choice...but the problem is the right one, nothing happened to the left muffler...by the way, I was checking some out yesterday on that 704 (4got the name) website, should I get an after market or the original chrome tips CL muffler set?
