Acura sucks for not producing the rims. Look at the CL-S rims from last year. It was awesome and look at this rims now for the RSX.

Tsk Tsk Acura is DUMB.

once again i wish there was some way to make our collective voices heard. i'd buy those rims (and a body-kit for that matter) in a second if acura decided to sell them.

FYI, someone from the TL board (shawhite) emailed Acura about producing the SEMA rims from the CL last year... below is the response. After reading it I think we'll all lose hope over either rim being produced ......

==============================================

Hello, and thanks for your interest in the Concept CL wheels that were shown at the 2000 SEMA show. Unfortunately, the wheels you are inquiring about were one-off prototype wheels--made specifically for that concept vehicle. Sorry to disappoint but to my knowledge we have no plans to offer that design in the future. Again, thanks for your interest.

Then let me buy THAT set, if you don't have any others. Damn. :-p Stupid Acura.

Btw, the wing on that RSX is pure rice. It even looks PLASTIC.

Look what I read on Overboost about this RSX at SEMA:

"Take special note of this RSX - we have a funny feeling that more than a few of the parts seen here will be available through Acura dealers shortly. We haven't heard definite details, but do suspect that the wheels, spoiler and portions of the body kit will soon be Honda Optional Equipment. "

those look strikingly similar! how much do they go for and what offsets?

and...

in response to the thing saying those wheels might soon be available as optional, if they limit them to only the RSX i say we revolt. FIGHT THE POWER!

Those were special made rims from a company in Torrance for the prototype RSX. Those a 19' rims dipped in chocolated chrome with Acura center caps.

They are listed with sizes
17x7
18.75

but the offset is not known.. but if they are similar to other Nakayama wheels, my guess would be they are +45

price is not stated.. maybe we can find a site that sells these somewhere.. I have been trying to search for more info and prices..

Those Nakayamas look like exact replicas; nice job hunting those down. Now if they could make them in 19's............
