Can I put 235/45-17 on stock rims?

I have a 03 CLS 6 spd. Can I put 235/45 tires on? Anybody got pics or experiences? And any brand suggestion?

I hate the orginal Michi. They don't grip and just like to squeal.

Your signature doesn't state if you have aftermarket springs. With the 40 sidewall height, does it look like your car is RAISED like a 4x4 anymore then stock?

So, it's 40? not 45? If possible, do you have pic of yours? I would like to compare 40 and 45 sidewall. And I believe it will be more bumpy on 40' tires.

Many thanks!

235/45 are the perfect replacement for the stock size!!!!
