Angry Cameras

does anyone know if there are any security cameras that can be installed on/in our cars? i want something that can view the outside of the car on all sides. i would like to have something that will record so i can save it if i need to or view it. i could install 4 of them if needed to view each side of the car. my car was severly keyed monday night . i work in a job that it is easy for me to make enemies and several of these possible enemies i know and went to school with. i am a loss prevention agent and i am constantly catching people that i know and some of them know where i live. i caught this one guy on Dec 22 and a week later he came back, which is now treaspassing. then the next monday night my car got keyed. and he is thei only person that has a big enough problem with me to actually do something like this. and the cops here are not doing much to help out. i really need some help here. and no i really dont want to quit my job.

just install a CCTV system at your work and aim the cam at your car. its simple and easy to install. you can get them for an affordable price at radioshack. it doesnt have to be fancy it just has to work

we have cctv system set up and we have a camer on the parking lot and i park my car in view of the camera. i want something for when im not at work. my house, out shopping, with some friends, or any where else. this mf called me last night at work and asked me how i like my car. and the cops still wont do much about it. i have spoke to several officers and they arent seeming to be doing much. i hate the police to the fullest now

That sucks man, how bad is the damage? Insurance?

Not sure I can help, but the only thing I could think of is that you would probably want the recorder to be somewhere remote (ie. not in your car), in case your car is stolen. If you could do that, it'd be money.

im sure the police will get to it. its just petty vandalism so they dont take it seriously. you cant get anything that will monitor your car at the mall per say. you can get a cheap one for your house though.

You could try getting a 2-way alarm system.

You can make the sensitivity so high that anything will set the alarm off.
The 2-way remote will let you know what happened and to what part of the car on an LCD screen.
A good one goes for around $500.
I have a Python 881xp that was $489 when bought, but I haven't put it in yet. Just never got around to it. Just opened it and put it back in the box.
It has code hoping, a dual stage impact shock sensor and I think it has a range over 1/4 mile.

This may at least give you the chance to catch him in the act or stop the vandalism...
