CAI for new CLS 6spd

Can somebody tell me if there's a CAI out there that's been made for the new 2003 3.2CLS 6spd?
AEM and Ingen have listed up to 2002 models but I was told they won't fit on the new 2003 6spd. If that's the case, what changes are needed to make them fit? Is it necessary to have a bypass?

Cheers guys.

you can get the aem intake for the 2001-2002 but you will have to cut it...it does fit with some cutting...the bypass valve is for some, a feeling of insurance from any damage from water, to others its a waste of time and money and maybe even power loss....

Thanks. Is the Ingen the same? Are there any performance or sound differences between the AEM and Ingen? Or are both pretty much equal?

ingen has one less bend and is easier to install....in most peoples opinion...also, you can use the AEM bypass valve with the injen.... there isnt any real difference between the 2 in any way

where exactly do you have to cut the AEM and Injen CAIs to get them to fit in the 03 manual? as you can probably tell, i'm thinking about this...a little more info would be great.

Well, I have a racing shop here in Vancouver building me a custom polished stainless steel intake. They do very good work so I'll post pics when it's done. They specialize in DSM's but do a lot of work with Honda's and Acura's. The shop owners Talon TSI is running the 1/4 in 11.4 without NOS... not bad.. they do good work so what they build for me should be quite nice. And the price is unbeatable... $127 USD for the custom CAI built and installed.

The Accord V6 Injen intake should fit fine. Or you can do what I did: 01-02 CLS #1460 CAI, add a bypass, and substitute the short silicon hose supplied by Injen with a 6" one.

Paid $180 for the CAI, $35 for the bypass and $20 for the hose from Road/Race.

Here's some pics of my custom CAI I got done by L&R Racing here in Vancouver. http://www.lr-racing.com/

I am very impressed. Love the sound. And it's stainless.
Saved heaps of money....

Cheers.
