recently i notice that my car rocks like a boat while driving. most noticeable 20-40 mph. feels like im tapping the gas and letting go continously. i notice that the rpm jumps about 250 up and goes back down. I took a look under the hood i can hear something clicking on and off- im guessing something with the a/c. This problem only happens when the a/c is on. any ideals?

 

Do you have the under drive crank pulley?

 

my car just has the k&n filter with no resonator. everything is completely stock

 

Your the guy with 165k+ on your tranny right?

 

i have the same problem,and im at 94k...i also had a major slip the other day, think my tranny is on life support

 

its not the tranny because why would it only happen when the a/c is on? my car is at 172k but i got tranny replaced at 168

 

Same problem here. I'm at 89k and had the tranny replaced 10k ago. It's definintely worse with the A/C on, but it does it with the A/C off as well, just not as much on mine. I'm at a loss. I'll let you know what Acura service says about mine when I take it in... unless I trade my CL in before then.

Sounds like something is loose...I'd check with teh belts, pulleys, and tranny/engine mounts.
