A/C and fog??

Anybody have their A/C running then all of a sudden some fog will start to come out of the vents? Scared the shit out of me the first time it happened. However, I now think it's normal. Maybe some condensation or something.

well if its fog its fine but if it settles on the windows try feeling it, does it feel slippery liek coolant or dry like water? A lot of the times it can be a leaking heater core but they also do it when the ac is not on, but its just water vapor form the sound of it.

I do get some kind of greasy substance on my windshield, but only during the summer. Meaning, only when I run the a/c. I just thought that was normal too. Am I wrong to assume?

if you don't know if its coolant or not taste it, coolant is sweet, just remember don't taste too much its bad for you and can kill you, you have been warned. the greasy stuff is dirt and moisture mixed togther, you will know if you ever have a car with a broken heater core, it will fog right up and you can't see anything and the whole car will have a sugary sweet smell.
